As Lakeside enters a new ministry year, there are five “checkpoints” God has led the leadership team to move forward on. Whether near or far, young or old, our hope is the life change message of the gospel ignite a movement aimed at helping people passionately pursue Jesus Christ. We hope you’ll partner with us is in this work through praying, serving, and giving as we step out in faith together!

Create a new student ministry for 7th through 12th graders. Pastor Jon will be working with volunteers to develop and deploy a new team to lead and support this work with the focus helping students passionately pursue Jesus as they grow and mature.
Prayer Request
Pray for wisdom and guidance and that the Lord would lay a burden for reaching student on our hearts as church.

Connect 100 adults in Community Groups during 2024-2025. This will require our adult ministries to grow at least four new groups between our two group launches this fall and this winter. Doing this will require new group leaders and those willing to host groups.

Pray God would raise up leaders and those with a heart for hospitality.

Cultivate Lakeside's first overseas partnership with a Christian and Missionary Alliance worker, preferably doing church planting work in an unreached area. The Lakeside Engage team has already begun laying the groundwork for this partnership and hope to see it soon become a reality.
Prayer Request
Pray for guidance and wisdom for the Engage team and other ministry leaders as they contemplate how to move forward. Pray for a wise and strategic partnership and that the Lakeside family would grow a heart for missions and world evangelism.

Host our first recovery care group offering biblically based support to those affected by addiction. This may include caring for families or the individuals themselves.
Prayer Request
Pray for wisdom and for strategic partnerships as Lakeside leaders seek to help address this very serious problem that afflicts so many people in our area.

Host 10 Summer Adventure Camps next year to build on the success of this summer's work.
Prayer Request
Pray that God would raise up leaders and volunteers who have a heart for children and for wisdom in planning out the logistics of hosting the camps. Pray these camps would be instrumental in drawing families to Jesus.
